Cannabis is already basically decriminalised in Scotland. It’s legal medically and if you get caught with a bit of weed, or any other drug for that matter, you’re not going to be in very much trouble.

While this year 4/20 was an important day in the Christian calendar, it’s good to see that not everyone forgot about other denominations.

There is an emerging consensus in Scotland that maybe there are bigger fish to fry. The Scottish Government’s *A caring, compassionate and human rights informed drug policy for Scotland* called for decriminalisation of drugs for personal use. [This was rejected by the Conservatives faster than it would take for me to link to the paper](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-66570190) and I think UK Labour followed pretty quickly.
So embarrassing for all those social media interns too stoned to remember it’s 420.

Wasn’t aware the Scottish Greens want us to adopt the American calendar system.

Wait I thought it was the Lib Dems that wanted to legalise it, not the greens – although I guess it matches their party.
Cant decide if the real sin on this day is capitalism charging a tenner for a Creme Egg or the Vatican not flogging blessed pre rolls to fund a new popemobile.
