US envoy Steve Witkoff met Putin in Russia, holding 5-hour talks. Reuters reports against this backdrop he told Trump that the quickest path to peace in Ukraine may be to cede 4 Ukrainian regions to Russia.

   Amazing work america, some of the brightest minds. When they come for the next 4 regions in 5 years time will you say the same again?

2. As grim as it sounds, the next peace offering after six months will be even worse. It reflects the realities on the ground. The only real hope would be direct US involvement (boots on the ground) and that’s not going to happen. Maybe Ukraine should hold a referendum and let people decide if they want to keep on fighting or not.
