   This has been tried before. Many Palestinians have Israeli citizenship and would be caught up in a passport ban. 1/5 of all Israelis have Arab heritage.

   The only real way to properly implement a passport ban without banning Palestinians would be to check for religion and heritage with the bans, which opens up a can of worms.

   EDIT: if your response is “they are Arab so they must be poor” you are being racist. Black people in the US are often poor, we don’t assume zero African Americans can afford vacations.

3. For people who keep saying collective punishment is bad, I see no pushback about how this is collective punishment…

   Id love to be proven wrong on this, but given the attitude this sub has, I don’t expect to be wrong.
