That’s a non and obfuscating answer. Amazon does exactly what Kevin is whatabouting but no mention of that.
Then make the product in America and zip it
Make them in America then… Problem solved
Make your stuff in the USA. Problem solved.
To be fair on the show sharktank the judges promoted making in china ,
Well don't sell to the US boo hoo
What a joke…..fully leveraged? How? If you ordered that many units….then you have expectations for sales. The unit cost doubled from 1 to 2 dollars….reset your prices….move through this set of orders and deal with it.
Stay the hell away from China! They are truly evil. If you open a company in a country that has no morals, you get what you had coming. I have been there and it’s a mistake. Their labor is slave labor no matter how you cut it. If you make money off the backs of slaves then you are in for it.
You win some, you lose some.
Yeah explain how China can do that to us but we can't even use their courts to make it a fair fight. Please explain that I am waiting for an answer Eagerly and intently. Please make that make sense
Build in America using American workers!
I have a metal fabrication side hustle. I could not afford top tier CNC machine tools. But I did my best to buy American and was able to acquire some amazing equipment while supporting Amercian manufacturers (about half of everything we own). We have some brilliant domestic manufacturers who compete really well with off-shore competitors. Cost a little more in some cases…but quality was amazing.
AMERICA FIRST 🇺🇸
should have made better choices boss babe
Yup, have it made in China, as said, China sues in our courts to fuck America out of being an industrial power, like Mexico trying to sue gun manufacturers for illegal guns in Mexico, the issue isn't the gun, it's that Mexico allows such a terrible terrorist organization exist in its borders.
We have done the same bullshit with China, and wonder why we are under thier thumb, yet cry when we can't use their slave labor, you cannot fix STUPID
It blows my mind how many people are so dumb that they completely miss the entire point of the damn terrifs!
The point ISN'T to make you spend more to get things done in China… The fuckin point was the bring the work back to AMERICA!?!? Get your shit made here!?!? They made it more expensive to do it there, as a way to make it a BETTER option to spend your mom in your OWN damn country! Bring the jobs back to America!
CLUELESS!
Talk to these weak business owners
The produce in question is drop shipped as well not manufactured by her designs.
How much she gonna lose when china takes her product and puts it in Temu for $5 after she paid to have the molds made and everything designed.
I’m a nobody. I’m barely middle class here. But. Speaking from no experience and simply common sense. Bad decisions have bad consequences. And you crying about not knowing what to do sounds like a cop out to me. Business wise, it looks like 2 hands outstretched praying for a not deserved bailout like the banks and car companies had. Maybe just go bankrupt, with the knowledge of never leverage the roof over your head for an item that’s effectively pointless in an over saturated market that is baby items, and create something innovative that’s worth the cost to manufacture on your home soil sans tariffs.(another side note, the only reason her business makes money is because she’s exploiting currency rates that only provide an advantage given that the economic system creating that advantage stays stagnant. Just because your Etsy shop exploded doesn’t mean you’re a fuckin mogul ready for the global big leagues, 9/10 your products come here in a container smushed against temu and banggood orders)
China has been stealing our inventions/ideas for decades. They have zero respect for copyright. IF BusyBaby had manufactured in USA initial profits wouldn't have been as high, but ongoing revenue would be safe. That is until one gets sent to China and they rip it off anyway.
If you have china make something for you, they will just produce even more of them and cheaper and undersell your product. So you will not make any money off of your product because people could go to Temu or whatever and get it cheaper. That is what the tariffs is blocking now.
Just wait, china will steal your idea.
Hootie and the Blowfish- Let her Cry
Thats what you get for supporting china instead of supporting usa. Not to mention your product was probably s**t. But thats todays world everything is throw away not built to last
Hmm…that's a good reason not to utilize chinese sources for your business.
I’m a patent attorney who has handled countless patent portfolios for multinational corporations. He’s spouting BS when he says Chinese factories are “ripping off” designs from companies and then suing those same companies. A valid patent in the U.S. restricts others from importing infringing products.
