A WIRED investigation reveals that the US Department of Homeland Security has deployed at least 30 YouTube ads since April 1 to threaten irregular migrants with deportation and a ban on reentry.

The headline here appears to contain an outright falsehood, as the article describes regionally targeted ads and selection of TV programs and channels in which to place ads rather than hyper targeted ads.
Seems like a fine idea and almost totally uninteresting. Wtf is “irregular migration?” Is that like latinx and peaceful riots?
Sounds like a good idea with a potential high roi to me.
