  1. And they’ve just put our bills up- £1000/year on a fixed tariff (we’re changing to meter).

For a small 3 bed house.

    What a joke

  2. Don’t forget they’re “not for profit”…ugly word that…unless of course it’s director’s renumeration then of course it’s perfectly fine..
    Absolute gaslighting inept vultures.

  3. There’s a leak going on near us that’s been going for years and they just deny and ignore it. Anything that doesn’t make money they don’t want to hear.

  4. And we’re paying for it! My bill has doubled! I’m just glad we aren’t very high usage so the bill is still fairly low. But a 100% increase is still baffling.

  5. The water supply for 3 houses in our road goes through 4 other properties instead of up the road outside the houses. Last year it burst after dwr cymru fixed another leak nearby. It flooded the neighbour’s gardens for 4 months while everyone said it wasn’t their responsibility. Nobody knew (even the water board) when the pipes had been put in or why it went through other property instead of up the road outside the houses. Eventually we paid a local contractor to fix it. Would like to be able to deduct the cost off our water bill but imagine what would happen if we tried that?

  6. This must be due to the Tories, sabotaging our efforts to become a financially independent nation! If it weren’t for them, we’d have a thriving, water-based economy by now.

All joking aside, Wales’ inability to manage anything properly is an embarassment.

  7. Our usages have apparently gone up 40% in the last year, and we’ve gone from working from home to working in the office in the same time period!

  8. stop growing leaks if they need so much water. seriously some of or water pipes are over 100 years old. government was to busy selling water off to fix them. seven trent are in worse condition.
