  1. U.S. President Donald Trump says Canada would “cease to exist” without American support — and online, a lot of people aren’t having it. The comments came Wednesday in the Oval Office, where Trump spoke to reporters after a signing ceremony. “It’s costing us $200 billion a year to support Canada,” Trump said during the briefing. “We can make our own cars. We’ve got more energy than they do — more than anyone else, really. We don’t need their lumber, we’ve got plenty of our own. We’ve got everything they’re selling to us,” he added. “Especially cars.”

  2. Eyes on the prize, people. He makes outrageous statements to distract from his latest fuckups. Focus on what’s important: the corruption, the incompetence, the authoritarianism. 

  3. Where is he even getting the 200 billion number? That isn’t even the trade deficit with Canada which is 60+ billion.

  4. I wish and hope he is stupid enough to order US troops to annex Canada. At least we all have a definitive direction of how our economies and businesses should be managed. To be fair to Putin, at least his imperious tendencies are definitive and countries and businesses can adjust accordingly and are still able to make short, medium, and long term plans. Even Ukraine whilst in war can still manage to plan and layout a development plan.

    Trump is so stupidly indecisive he doesn’t even know if he really wants something or not and the uncertainty is exponentially more devastating than war without any gains at all.

    Trump, you’re 80 years old. You either go all in or just golf until you die. But for the love of god decide already.

  7. Trump wants to impose a neighbour fee. Its gonna cost everybody else if they wanna be friends with the US. Everyone will have a subscription fee.
