  1. He attacked from behind with a weapon, the victim fell to the floor and still, he somehow appears to have lost the ‘fight’. Don’t fancy his chances in prison.

  2. My husband told me about this and when he said ‘fight over a love triangle’ I was all excited to see two ladies flapping hands in the staff room over the P.E teacher….Did not expect an unhinged loon attacking another man from behind with a wrench!!

  3. One of the central themes in management training is to locate a better melee weapon than a wrench to press home an attack on subordinates. I realise it was a heat of the moment thing but if a head teacher doesn’t respect learning you really have to question their career choices.

  4. Just saw the news featuring this story. 2 years for what he did is a joke, could have very easily killed the other guy.

  5. So the headteacher had a child with a female teacher.

The deputy then entered a relationship with said female teacher.

    Headteacher attacks deputy over jealousy.

Honestly, relationships shouldn’t be allowed between school staff and subordinates. A headteacher shouldn’t be sleeping with teachers, and a deputy head shouldn’t be entering a relationship with them either. It leads to conflicts of interest, favouritism, and loss of trust.

However, I’d like to see this woman. Was she really worth attacking a colleague with a wrench and 2 years in prison?
