  1. Should wash my car today. Weather is pretty nice and warm so I get to use my own pressure washer at home. Got a whole 25L thingy of shampoo I need to hunt down, as its somehow gone walk abouts in the house.

Landlord still hasn’t sorted the basement so it still smells like puke down there after the grey water leak. Hoping it isn’t in there.

  2. It’s Kingsday here in the Netherlands so I’m popping down to the Rowing Club, then going to hit the street markets and then visit my nieces and nephew for their birthday party. Their birthdays are all within a week of each other. Their mother is German so efficiency is top priority I guess.

  3. Going for a little trip to the coast today. The picture here is of Sizewell beach in Suffolk, but I’ll be up in north Norfolk.

  4. We are on holiday for my husband’s 30th birthday! First time in Switzerland, we are going to explore Zurich today

  5. Nothing yet. Sat by the back door listening to birdsong. Dog has climbed on my lap then fell off again because he’s too much of a unit. He’s now on his mat destroying Mr Fox, his toy.

    It’s very relaxing.

  6. Off to work for 8 at my local Wetherspoons…say a prayer for me.

  7. Just finishing up in the gym, the SO is working so as usual I am just deciding where to take the kids when they wake up. I really should start planning ahead.
I also want to replace my WiFi blind closers and integrate them into my home automation as I’ve had them for 5 days now and it’s eating at me.

  8. Off to see my girlfriend for the weekend, just walking to the station to get the train.

I’m cooking tonight, so that’ll be nice.

  9. Parkrun tourism again – Milton Keynes today because of husband’s away football match.

  10. Stayed at the coast, been amazing, we pack and leave by 10am!

  11. Clearing out my lorry to put all the stuff back in to a new one. Should really be doing this Monday and getting paid to do it 😬

  12. Having to explain to the dog why the warm, sunny walkies day we had planned is just going to be a cold, dull walkies day.

  13. Long walk this morning, nap this afternoon and a 12 hour night shift. Atleast the weather is still looking decent for my days off.

  14. I have a 5 Yr old snuggled sleepily against me on one side and a 2 year old watching encato on the ipad to keep her still whole the rest of us snooze for the last couple of hours. The 3 Yr old is yet to emerge which is also a boon!
Hoping to tidy house and do some gardening and errands. Pretty easy going after the great easter holidays we had with the kids!

  15. Just having a brew and some toast, then a quick shower and bed, because I’ve just done a busy night shift and I’m back in tonight. I did get a decent haul of heavily reduced Easter chocolate though. Working in a supermarket has its perks.

  16. Not sure yet. We were planning on a day out to round off the school holidays but 5 year old was up for a few hours in the night with a cough so we’re all a bit wiped. Might be a baking and Lego day instead, maybe a trip to his favourite garden centre (he’s basically 73 in the body of a 5 year old)

  17. Trying to fix a really annoying issue with a PC game; constant freezing requiring a power button shutdown. So many things to check and try…it’s like a tech re-make oif groundhog day. Lovely photo to cheer me up though, reminds me of Dungeness.

  18. I’m going to a protest.

I probably shouldn’t say more given this is casual uk, but it’s not something I make a habit of.

  19. *Slight* hangover. Just a tiny one. Not helped by only having about 3 hours of disturbed sleep.

  20. Pompey > Sheffield Wednesday > Pompey. Last away game of the season and honestly, I’m glad. Been a long one and I’m ready for a break. PUP

  21. My timeshare dog is going back to his other home today for 6 weeks. Lunch with him and his co-owner down at the beach, and then some serious research into a new bed, sofa and other furniture, looks like I’m going to be moving from part-furnished rental into my own home a bit sooner than expected.

  22. Monthly food shop and then potentially making an apple crumble and a loaf with the leftover bits of ingredients we have in what we term our baking cupboard.

  23. Ah another busy Saturday at work where I will simultaneously be not listened to and also be expected to be the fount of all knowledge. Have to repeat myself so frequently I end up feeling like I’m trapped in one of Dantes circles of Hell.

  24. It’s been a physically demanding week, so I’ll probably kick back with a brew and do some sketching and download a good book to read. I may go to the local record shop and buy some college rocks cds.

  25. A lazy morning trimming my Japanese knotweed and then having a dozen people over for a watch party of the popes funeral

  26. There’s rally cars in a park near me today, so going to see that this morning then off on a man date to watch Revenge of the Sith in the cinema. 40 years old, but this feels like a 15 year old Saturday!

  27. i might go to a garden centre; we’ve booked someone to come and “do” the garden at the end of may so now i’m thinking about plants, pots and generally looking forward to having a nice outdoor space!

  28. Doing my food shop today as the London Fun Run means I’ll be pretty much trapped in my house until around 2pm tomorrow. Hopefully the marshmallow, dandelion & burdock roots I ordered arrive today so I have things to make tomorrow when I’m stuck indoors.

Also changing the bedding, drinking lots of tea, watching Dr Who and generally mooching about after a long and hard work week. Might make some more “mouthwash” to go in my water flosser as it seems to do the trick nicely.

  29. Off to see Hamilton the musical live at the theatre today with my best friend and our daughters who have also grown up become best friends 😍 so a lush girly day lined up

  30. 20th anniversary showing of Revenge of the Sith tonight.

Brother and I are ~~dragging~~ taking the wife and wife-to be to see it.

  31. Resting before running London Marathon tomorrow. Also eating all food. All of it.

  32. We get a pup next Saturday and I’m mega excited. Our Garden is dog proof but I’m going to pop to the local farm store, get some chicken wire and make the driveway gates dog proof as well.
