Is there anything we should be concerned about with them?
I see charities pop up stands everywhere.
Their logo is even more offensive than the whole lying to and stealing from vulnerable old people shtick.
They’re always outside Farringdon station
They’re a blight on our chuffing pavements that’s for sure. Report these scammers
They are a blight-y
Scammers
They are not affiliated with the Royal British Legion and they are fraudulent scammers.
Just like ‘Inside Success union’ another shitty community investment company, NOT charity, that is stealing money.
I saw them at Gloucester Road station two weeks ago. The guy was loudly asking passersby if they wanted to donate to vulnerable ex-veterans. It seemed fishy — no one was paying him any attention
I don’t understand how it’s well known that this is a scam but these people are still out there regularly in highly populated parts of London.
Though I suppose the same could be said about the knife crime people
Were at Marylebone station yesterday – never heard of them until now
The denizens of Belgravia will have a more rapid reaction from the police to these scammers in the neighbourhood. As ever, report to 101.
I’ve been seeing them near Oxford St Station the past two weeks or so. Didn’t know who they were but looked dodgy.
How has this not been cracked down on nationally?
Scamming
Of course they are from Kent
Is that really “blighty” as in blight as in “To have a deleterious effect on”? Or am i misreading it
Has anyone ever said anything to them?
Someone’s after money in London? Shocked, shocked I say. *clutches pearls*
Am I missing something or is that just a really shit name for a “charity”?
What is “operation man down” exactly?
They were also in Richmond Highstreet on Thursday
Fun fact : Blighty is derived from the punjabi word Vilayty which means foreign land.
That’s the Belgravia Waitrose
“Operation Man Down” 🤣🤣🤣
So are these people not A real charity for ex servicemen?
Why isn’t there more being done to stop these guys and the ones that stand in your way in the blue jackets if they’re not actually charities? Like how are people now allowed to openly scam in the street now.
