Syrian letter delivers response to US conditions for sanctions relief

1. I think Syria is going to have to learn that the US isn’t negotiating, it’s making demands. Syria is in no position to deny them, at least if it wants to become a functioning state.

2. Gonna probably be an unpopular opinion on this website, but if Trump somehow magically manages to make Syria give up on the Golan Heights and sign peace with Israel, he does deserve that Nobel prize he is after.

   Not that I believe it’s gonna happen unfortunately.

3. One of our conditions should be to give all Palestinian “refugees” in the country Syrian citizenship. It is absurd that we allow the Arabs to keep millions of Palestinians in limbo just so they can be used as a geopolitical cudgel against Israel.
