Trump threatens Putin with new sanctions after meeting with Zelensky

1. He should threaten Russia with putting US troops in Ukraine, if they do not immediately withdraw.

2. And in a week’s time, after speaking with Putin, he will be threatening Zelensky with new sanctions.

3. Does he[Trump] even own a black suit appropriate for a funeral?

4. Trump is probably having enormous institutional resistance to abandoning Ukraine. People with an actual education in foreign policy must have been drilling it in, day after day.

   If the US abandons Europe it’s alone in the world. Defense costs will ramp up massively and billions would actually celebrate a US downfall. The EU is the one single sizable place that still had a positive image of the United States.
   Anyone who knows anything is aware of how dangerous the world can become to the average American citizen if trump continues on the path set in the last few months.

   I bet the consequences of his initial hubris are making themselves clear and that has forced his change of tone in the last week.
