  1. The Unionist bonfires wouldn’t be that bad at all if, they didn’t insist on putting Irish flags and nasty slogans all over them.

  2. I wouldn’t feel so against our bonefires if they literally stacked up to this.

  3. Wheres all the tricolours? I thought they were required?

  4. Probably glad there’s no election posters of them on the top of this.

  5. These guys are just lucky their traditional site isn’t encircled by houses put up by inconsiderate eejits.

However, being nearly surrounded by water does limit the prime Bucky-swalling spots.

  6. I think they should be illegal, the pollution alone. On both sides. Maybe just have a fake alternative, like a symbolic fire rather than a real fire thats a massive hazard to build and be near to.

  7. I wouldn’t mind 12 pallets for a garden project. I guess they’ll be like hens teeth with these rodents playing up again this time of year

  8. I don’t like the bonfires cause of all the political shite stacked up on them. Do you think us Fenians like ordinary bonfires?

  9. They don’t do well in the Stortinget elections, not sure about the Slinningsbålet Municipals though.

  10. Big Mervin would dispute who’s is biggest now

  11. They wouldn’t gather sticks for the elderly neighbour though… Stupid neanderthals impressed by fire.

  12. Gaz is gonna go into meltdown about perceived cultural appropriation and we’re all gonna be Declan’s again.

  13. I’m all for them being regulated against hateful signage/effigies and kept below a certain height. Most are without issues but a minority cause problems and reflect badly on unionism.

They are an integral part of unionist culture though so getting rid entirely is a non starter. The pollution is a drop in the ocean compared to many other sources of it from Transport, Agriculture etc

  14. They aren’t burning it in celebration of a battle that happened 400 years ago ffs . Fool

  15. Loyalists in Norway with connections to the Far Right?

  16. Call that a bonfire? Not nearly close enough to houses.
