India-Pakistan Tensions: Pakistan Shoots Down Indian Drone Amid Kashmir Escalation

1. SS: Pakistan’s army said it shot down an Indian spy drone in the Kashmir region, as tensions rise over last week’s militant attacks that killed 26 people.

   The unmanned drone breached the Line of Control in Kashmir, Pakistan’s state-run television channel said on Tuesday, citing unidentified security personnel.

   Just hours earlier, a top Pakistan defence official warned of the possibility of war with India but said it can be averted. In comments to Pakistani media outlet Geo News, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif described the next few days as crucial.

   “If something has to happen, it will happen in two or three days,” Asif told the news channel. “There is an immediate threat.” China, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states are working to prevent conflict from breaking out, he added.

   Indian Army didn’t offer any comments immediately.

   Additionally, 2 Indian Units opened fire at each other in Bramulla sector of Indian, killing 5 of their own soldiers on the night of 25th April.

4. The Indians have been going on about attacking pakistan on their media for a couple of days now. Seems just like some empty threats from their side since the last time they tried to invade Pakistan airspace, their pilot was captured.

5. All Pakistani’s here should relax and enjoy life. India isn’t going to attack Pakistan, Neither is there any risk of Taking out specific individuals within pakistan. Don’t be mislead by such articles because if a war was going to happen, It would have started already. 😉😉

6. I think it is truly terrifying how many people on both sides seem to be cheering on the prospect of war. It feels like just before WW1 when the European colonial powers were excited for war. I really hope the “Spirit of 1914” doesn’t become the “Spirit of 2025”.

7. I don’t believe Pakistan has shot down anything, let alone a drone.

8. Lots of people saying war is not gonna happen reminds me of all the people saying, “Russia isn’t gonna invade the Ukraine.” Look how that turned out. You don’t get to sleep under a rock just because geopolitics don’t align with your feelings.
