I’ve been watching my partner play oblivion in between replaying rdr2 on PC. Both amazing games.
I’m currently bouncing between Oblivion, Blue Prince and Crime Scene Cleaner.
I’m counting this as my first play through of Oblivion – I started last year but messed up the levelling so badly that I had multiple level ups in hand and couldn’t kill anything without being one shot myself repeatedly so thank god for the change in the remaster!
Started playing **Hogwarts Legacy** last week as it is on PS+ so figured it was worth a crack. Enjoying it so far.
No time to play oblivion when I’m 45 hours into blue prince, 130 pages/1800 words of screenshots and notes in Google drive
I’ve basically switched my home pc over to Linux full time now, so I might give gaming a go via steam/proton. I made the switch because games and photo editing were the only things holding me back, and I realised I hardly ever have any more, certainly not anything new. Gonna give Assassins Creed Odyssey a go and see what happens. I know lots of AC fans are sniffly about the later games, but I just love running round Ancient Greece.
If anyone is interested I use birth rawtherapee and darktable for photo editing now. They’re both good, but incredibly un-user friendly, in that very classically open source kind of way
I’m so far behind on my backlog in going through that before I entertain any new games.
Just finished Ghost Of Tsushima and moving onto God Of War: Ragnarok
Still playing **Oblivion Remastered**, only around 20 hours in atm. Finished the Arena and almost finished with the Fighter’s Guild. Some annoying bugs like the infinite poison glitch which kills you until you save and reload, but mostly been a great experience so far. It’s made me want to do another Skyrim run after I’m done.
I have a few games on the backlog for the first time in a while: **The Last of Us Part 2, Space Marine 2, No Rest for the Wicked**.
I did try the **Diablo 4** season yesterday but got bored after about 20 minutes. I’ve played every class at least once to endgame now (takes way less time than you’d think), and the game isn’t varied enough in terms of builds to keep me coming back. Last time I did a proper end game run was when the DLC came out.
I just finished robocop. If you ever want to play as a walking tank, this is the game
Double dash with wide-screen patch on steam deck via retroarch dolphin. Still doing hypercharge unboxed (toy soldiers meets cod zombies gameplay), hogwarts legacy via ps plus
Has Gordon been borrowing a certain Yank’s syrup?
I’m desperately avoiding Expedition 33 spoilers at the moment as I’m trying not to juggle too many games.
I’m still on Xenoblade Chronicles X. I’m about 90 hours deep now and still have 3 chapters of story to go – I don’t mind the grind and side quests though, as I’m still finding new things in the world.
I’ve got the itch for Vampire survivors again too. The last dlc I played was among us I think, so plenty of stuff there. I just feel a bit like I’m robbing the dev every time I load the game given the playtime I’ve had out of it.
Hitting the WoW leveling hard after five months of the MGS games (only playing it twice a week, hence the length)
Also a third (i know, I know rookie numbers) of playthrough of BG3 , but modded this time and with two great friends!
I’m back to The Forest. Found an un-trafficked spot to build a base and have already built a wee wall around it, murdered a couple of turtles for rain catchers and have a nice stash of food and water.
Might actually make some progress this run!
Started to play a farm/life sim called Fields of Mistria, I’d been putting it off since it’s only in early access but I’ve read really good things about the content already in it. I’m loving it so far and I’m only an in-game week in
So excited for this but no time to play it at the moment. Im just reading memes and peoples stories about the brutal war that is Kvatch and I’m not sure I’ll be very good playing it 17 years on.
There’s a new Commandos game, hurrah. It’s £45. Boo. I bloody love the Commando games but I’m not spending that.
Bg3
So, so much bg3
Chewing my way through Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate. Bought it on PS4 when it first came out which was obviously a huge mistake, and while it still sags under its own weight, it’s finally in a pretty respectable condition.
Also got Star of Providence for those evenings where I utterly hate myself.
Playing a fair bit of Elite:Dangerous at the moment, hauling tons of goods to make nice little colonies in the middle of nowhere.
It’s getting warmer and that tends to reduce my gaming.
Got a few hours on Fallout 76.
Its fine but think I will try getting back in to Fallout London.
As the Fallout 76 servers have been touchy, I’ve gotten into Atomfall. I like how it doesn’t hold you hand and the huge mixture of accents.
Seems I’m always a month behind trends.
Still Avowed. Just about to >!put a splinter of a god into an animated statue because a bonkers prophet thinks I should!<. Both my companions say it’s a really bad idea, and I know it’s a bad idea, but I can’t not do it, I need to see what happens. I’m guessing it’s going to result in a big fight, so I switched it off last night before doing it, as I was so tired yesterday I fell asleep while trying to work, and I needed a reasonable bedtime. Looking forward to getting back to it though.
Playing Bannerlord & Fate Grand Order at the moment. I also have Steins Gate Visual Novel I want to start this week.
I also have both Oblivion Remaster & Expedition 33 on my “to do” list, but no idea when I’ll make time for them.
The bad thing about constantly having a backlog of games 😀
I’m nearly done with Assassin’s Creed Shadows but just like with Valhalla I’m starting to get burnt out.
I really miss the older style Assassin’s Creed games.
Still on my second replay of Chernobylite and still on Spider-Man 2.
Deltarune! Absolutely batshit, but so much fun and the absurdist humour really picks me up.
Oblivion is out… Clair Obscur is out…. And this weekend I’m out for all of it.
Game Pass…. please consider my schedule 🙏🤣
Not to mention Doom in a few weeks time!
Deadlock deadlock deadlock!!! I love being goo
Struggling to stick to any particular game lately and flitting between Football Manager, Satisfactory, No Mans Sky, Path of Exile 2 and Atomfall and gave Oblivion a blast when that was re-released but a couple of weeks ago I decided to jump back into Eve Online as happens every couple of years so I’ve been mostly playing Eve since then.
I got the platinum trophy on Skyrim 2 nights ago so I can’t dive straight into Oblivion now.
Instead I’m playing Forza Horizon 5 on the PS5
Been trying to tackle halo 2 on Legendary after acing it on Reach but it’s too infuriating so I’ve dialled down to Heroic and having a much better time, been doing that for the past week
Got hooked on COD, and I need to stop.
I need to go back to puzzle games.
The Blue Prince is good. Also need to finish The Golden Idol.
Playing through Hellblade 2 at the moment because the first one fundamentally changed me as a person.
Kinda also looking for new games to play – Clair Obscura is intriguing, but not sure if I’ll enjoy the button mashing stuff that gets a lot of bad rep.
Oh, Arc Raiders test came out today as well, hopefully I get into that !
Recently bought ***Hades***, but haven’t started it yet because I was a bit obsessed with Ocarina of Time randomiser.
Downloaded **Forza Horizon 5** onto my **PS5** for £55 last night which, as someone who usually shops in CEX and loathes download-only, must-sign-in games, was unusual for me. However… I loved FH4 on my PC with a PS4 controller, but I didn’t have enough VRAM for FH5, so the PS5 port was such a pleasant surprise I bit the bullet. Having a blast – it looks fantastic and the adaptive trigger makes braking so satisfying.
Finishing off Plague Tale: Requiem. Loved the first game but finding this one a struggle as it’s so long and bleak. Want to see how the story finishes so I can go back to Avowed, Expedition 33 and AC Shadows which I all started recently.
KCD II, absolutely phenomenal game that’s eaten up so many hours of my life since release
Last Epoch has me hooked
Dark Souls. Going for the 100% achievements.
Oblivion. Keep making new characters 🤣 think I spread myself too thin on my current one and as a result the level scaling hasn’t been too kind. Think I’m just gonna make a generic good guy paladin and bum rush the main story.
PC out of action so will be playing the new season of Diablo 4 this evening on my steam deck. I’m sure it’s probably rubbish but it’s still a fun way to waste a few hours.
Still plodding through Assassin’s Creed 2. I’m in the endgame but honestly I just want it to be done.
Want to be playing KCD2 but it’s hard to multitask it when I’m meant to be working… so Balatro it is
STALKER 2 has been great so far. Love going back to that messed up place with a bigger and better world. Discovering the glass anomalies was fun, such a cool idea.
