  12. They forgot the smell of cow shit … putrid cow shit 🤢 Only this morning I was driving down the motorway and got a strong heady whiff.

  15. Cow shit. Driving over the Mendips after muck spreading and seeing Glastonbury Tor rise out of the morning fog while the smell of cow shit fills your nostrils is England to me.

  31. When you’ve been away for a week or so and you return to Heathrow airport there’s definitely a distinct smell and it’s none of these things mentioned.
