Fucking love living here. Less than half an hour from Cardiff city centre, and yet it feels like a rural village nestled in the woods.
Three or four good pubs in walking distance. Load of supermarkets within about 10 minutes drive. Shop, couple of good coffee shops, cinema and other stuff up at Nantgarw, well connected for trains and buses, on the Taff trail. Fantastic views up to Brecon and over Cardiff and out to England from the Garth.
I stood on that bridge watching a kingfisher not that long ago.
The place is only underwater about 20% of the year. That’s 80% good living.
