Ukraine has started mass production of 30-km fiber optic coils for drones, company representatives told Defence Express.
Ukrainian company 3DTech has successfully tested its new coils with ranges of 25 and 30 km. All stages of production are fully localized in Ukraine.

Are you sure? They are very similar in size and shape to MAGA Buttplugs*
*made in China
As a child I had a wired remote-controlled car. Wireless remotes came later. I never foresaw a 30 km wired remote.
This is exactly why Putin wanted Ukraine first. Hitler took Czechoslovakia without firing a shot, then proceeded to build his army from it’s infrastructure and resources.
Putin’s system is so corrupt he thought it would be easier to steal than build it internally.
It seems so weird , it runs on a line right?
Why cant drones be encrypted/100% optical etc without this?
Legit question
How much more expensive are the fibre optic drones, or maybe better to ask, how much are these coils? I assume they are one time use only.
Weight of these coils?
It’s a lot easier to clean up than millions of landmines.
Nice, fpv drones with 30km range! Insane how drones are getting more advanced during this war. Who would have imagined 30km fibre optic drones when war started?
My only question is, what happens to the fiber after its done? Do they reel it back in or just cut it. Wouldn’t it show the drone operators position if the enemy followed it?
So I always wonder, what happens to the filaments left behind? I know they are extremely thin, but if someone shines a UV light or something would they see 100 filaments all trailing back to a similar launch area?
