Eso seria Un navajazo en la espalda , pero bueno asi es la geopolitica..
O traicionas o te traicionan
Pakistan would be able to come out in one piece because they have nukes. This would be suicide for Bangladesh though, India would have 0 compuction about fully taking control and implementing regime change if Bangladesh invaded
They could try I guess, but would he quite embarrassing for them 🤷
Is the Bengali Army capable of a protracted campaign against India at this moment?
Yeah, that’s not happening, it’s suicide for Bangladesh. heck, this war would be suicide for Pakistan. They have nukes, sure, but not enough to end India, much less the world. If India is willing to take the hit, it can absorb a nuclear war far better than Pakistan can.
Bangladesh has nothing. They have 160k soldiers to India’s 1.4 million; they have worse equipment, a poor domestic industry, and are easily blockaded. India is their only neighbor, and they import 12 million tons of food annually. along with a mostly export-led economy. All India needs to do is hold the border and blockade them
cutting the chicken’s neck at Siliguri is possible, but without China hurling an army over civil war ridden Burma or through the Malacca strait to bail them out, Bangladesh would be screwed in a long war, the only real long term consequence being China probably seizing Arunachal Pradesh.
Bangladesh really went from thanking India for helping them attain independence to stabbing them in the back every chance they get. From illegal immigration to their universities actively becoming breeding grounds to create anti-Indian sentiments. It surprises me that Yunus went from being incredibly respected in India, to him openly saying India’s an enemy to the Bangladeshis.
