Donald Trump’s Ukraine minerals deals looks to be more about oil and gas than rare earths

1. Sometimes it seems like Trump really doesn’t understand what minerals are.

   He can wrap his head around fossil fuels, because oil = money but anytime rare earth minerals comes up its like he’s not entirely sure what that means

2. It doesn’t matter. This is a great deal for Ukraine. They give trump his little victory to sell to his supporters and in return they get large investments into their economy after the war.

3. There are oil pipes under Crimea. They can’t be completed because Russia occupies Crimea, but if Russia DID control Ukraine, they could control entirely the flow of gas and oil from the Arab States. This is also the reason the USA keeps poking its long nose into the Middle East.
