I watched a guy cook a joint of meat in a bath once
Awesome
Glad I’m not the only one the crows do this to.
Although the dip in my little pond and wreck the plants in there rather than the bird baths 🙁
Hydration is very important
Should have offered it some gravy
Got to marinade your mouse first
I saw a Magpie do this on the way to work the other morning. I was walking along, noticed something small scurry alongside someone’s front garden hedge. Before my brain could register “oh, a mouse” a Magpie swooped in, skewered it, flew off with it and dunked/ate it in the puddle in front of someone’s garage.
I like Corvids but that was a bit like, do you have to do that right in front of me at half 7 in the morning?
I found a dead chaffinch shoved in a hole in the ground yesterday. This picture has given me suspect number 1
Recently heard the screams of a baby bunny having its fur pulled out so the parent crow could eat it alive (organ first) as they have babies to feed now
(bunny rescued and rehabbed, crows got dog food replacement)
That’s so weird we’ve just had the same! …. I wonder if he rolled it in garlic salt first for flavour too?
Scran that
Somebody near me puts out stale bread for the birds, but the crows are fussy and find it a bit dry, so they dunk their stale bread in our pond.
Witnessed a murder of crows mobbing some kind of hawk the other day. The gits.
Can you blame him?
Crows are so cool. I always wanted to befriend all the crows in my area and call upon them in times of need…
As long as it’s warm and melty, you’ll dip it in anything, won’t you Lister.
Crow has etiquette
that’s just average crow behaviour
Bon apple teet
Why is nobody else curious about yesterdays pie? Please tell me more about the pie
That happened to us too. We leave peanuts out for the crows and Stellers Jays, the crows always soak the peanuts first. Once it was a live mouse. Gotta respect the crows (if you don’t wanna get dipped)

They love to dunk
“Mashallah, brother crow”
They can be a little dry.
