Imagine if a politician just seemed normal and intelligent
Farage wouldn’t be a issue if just one of these numpties come across as a normal sane person with rational ideas
People have short memories. This little twerp is a told everyone to vote Brexit then moved his assets to USD to avoid the inevitable economic nosedive. He should be in jail not marauding about as PM in waiting
Perhaps politicians of the more traditional parties need to star paying attention to what voters want?
Perhaps, rather than relying on polls, focus groups and social media, they need to get out in the real world. Start knocking on doors and holding local public meetings.
And to do this now and don’t wait until a week before an election.
Part of me is thinking “wtf England”. But the more rational part of me is thinking that the mainstream parties really need to get a handle on things.
That result is (mostly) a kneejerk reaction to how badly the tories and labour have fucked it the last few decades. If they don’t drastically change their policy and approach, people will keep being pushed to reform and we’ll end up with our own version of MAGA.
I wish we lived in the timeline where people had chosen greens or libdems as their “extreme” choice…

The single biggest issue is having out of control media, same in US. Freedom of speech is 100% important but fact checking is too.
