  1. A ballistic missile fired by Houthi rebels hit the vicinity of Israel’s main international airport on Sunday morning, injuring four people after a rare failure of the country’s missile defence system.

Israel’s Arrow and American THAAD (terminal high altitude area defence) systems failed to intercept the missile, which was fired by the Iran-backed group that controls much of Yemen and landed near the terminal of Ben Gurion.

Images showed the attack gouging a wide crater, while video captured the missile’s trail as it hit the ground and drivers pulled over to take cover. The Israeli emergency services said four people were injured, including a 50-year-old man with limb injuries, likely from shrapnel

  2. This is the first to hit of the over 25+ ballistic missles that here launched in the last 1.5 months.

There is no defense system with 100% success rate..
