This was meant to be embedded as a regular video, but oh well.

  1. It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of [concerns over privacy and the Open Web](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot).

Maybe check out **the canonical page** instead: **[https://www.scottishdailyexpress.co.uk/news/politics/dozens-scottish-independence-supporters-gather-35165421](https://www.scottishdailyexpress.co.uk/news/politics/dozens-scottish-independence-supporters-gather-35165421)**

  2. was that for Scottish Independence or Palestinian, couldn’t tell

  3. I’m sure we’ll be independent soon. Thank you to these patriots

  4. “Our right to decide”

    We did

Edit: downvote all you want, we did decide

  5. The size of these marches means nothing. What matters is that those who bother with any of this stuff remain designated as the post-Sturgeon SNP’s idea of a basket of deplorables. They are the vanguard the independence movement didn’t want. Because it’s not actually about independence. (It’s about jobs and power.)

  6. It’s an odd thing, to decry colonialism while attempting to re-write history to hide our own. The fogies have forgotten their own tunes, namely The Freedom Come All Ye.

    >Nae mair will the bonnie callants
Mairch tae war when oor braggarts crousely craw,
Nor wee weans frae pit-heid and clachan
Mourn the ships sailin’ doon the Broomielaw.
Broken faimlies in lands we’ve herriet,
    Will curse Scotland the Brave nae mair, nae mair;
Black and white, ane til ither mairriet,
Mak the vile barracks o’ their maisters bare.

  7. Auob that’s the event that welcomes all the dangerous fringes, right?

  8. Noticed lots of comments are going on about “if there’s the political will, we should have a referendum”

The thing is, there ISN’T the political will; there’s been, roughly, 47% of the Scottish Electorate who have supported Independence, since 2014 – and hasn’t changed due to demographics of age etc ( older No voters die off at the same rate as older Yes ones )

And before anyone brings up the latest poll showing a double digit lead for Yes – the organisation that ran that one ALWAYS shows a Yes lead; it has never shown a draw or No leading.

  9. I think they stated the number registered as actively attending, ie signed up at the event on the day as being present, was in the 5000s at some point during the speeches
