Andi Knoll will once again be the voice of the Eurovision Song Contest for ORF at this year’s contest in Basel, Switzerland.

Andi Knoll continues his run as one of the longest-serving Eurovision commentators, as ORF confirmed that “Mr. Song Contest” will be returning to their commentary booth for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest. Andi has been commentating at Eurovision for ORF since the 1999 contest.

The confirmation comes as ORF announces an array of shows focused on the Eurovision Song Contest 2025:

JJ was announced as representing Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 on January 30 with “Wasted Love” revealed on March 6.  Three juries selected the Austrian representative: a 30 member national and international jury of music experts, a 30 member jury of Eurovision fans from 5 OGAE clubs, and the ORF Eurovision editorial team.

JJ is set to perform sixth in Semi-Final Two of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 on March 15.

Austria debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957. Bob Martin represented the country on their debut but finished in the last place scoring just 3 points. Austria has won the contest twice, the first being in 1966 when Udo JĂŒrgens performed “Merci, Cherie”. It was 48 years later when Austria won again when Conchita Wurst performed “Rise Like a Phoenix”, scoring a total of 290 points.
