  5. How to keep that drone from untangling itself and coming after you again? I really don’t know but let’s think through it.

    If not under heavy small arms fire, back away 100 ft then hunch down and shoot at it? Toss a grenade and bury yourself into the vegetation? Probably not ideal but safer.

    If you can’t stand up or get away, it would be a huge risk but I think it actually would make sense to *very carefully* try to get to the drone and disable it—maybe snap its plastic rotors? There’s a risk of remote detonation but you’re already right next to it.

    But I sure wouldn’t pick it up and throw it unless I had no other choice and ideally can throw it into a hole.

    If he wanted to disable the drone, wouldn’t it be easier to just break one or tho helix and get the hell out of there?
