Tower Hamlets is a nightmare for dog owners but can’t see these rules making any difference.
Particular highlights.
The guy who beat his XL when it was “too nice” to my dog.
The guy who let his off lead XL rip apart a dog on the street.
The three attacks on children within a 5 minute block.
The staffie that bit my friend’s dog in mile end park and whose owner ran away.
The local councilor telling me the police were unable to stop dog fighting in the lifts of tower blocks – two go in, one survives.
The borough is an absolute nightmare for dog owners and only got worse.
The kind of person who owns a dog has completely changed in London since Covid. In our local park I see loads more clueless idiots with poorly socialised dogs with no training and ‘unsavoury types’ who are having their first go at dog ownership with large aggressive breeds. The amount of dog shit on local pavements has risen at the same pace.
