Gaming thread? Why not.

Clearly, I’ve been dicking about with Photo Mode on Baldurs Gate again. But there’s quite a few new releases, and some new stuff in the wings.

  2. Finally put **Elden Ring** down. I beat the base game, and then got to Malenia in the Haligtree. Had a crack at her, died (obviously) and just thought meh.

    So I made a start on **Clair Obscur Expedition 33** and after a bit of a janky start I think I’m getting the hang of it. There’s a lot to take in and I’ve a few minor criticisms but overall it’s hooked me and I’m looking forward to seeing if it really does live to the hype. I have a feeling it will.

  3. Dredge. Spent a few hours catching fish last night. So far so good, I’m guessing it’s going to turn weird before much longer given the talk of strange fish and mysteries in the fog.

  4. Got so much work to do that not really got much time to game, but trying to snatch small bits of **Ori and the Blind Forest** when I can. Clair Obscur is really testing my patient gaming credentials too – I don’t know if I can fight it off; it just looks so good.

  5. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 today. It’s amazing! The story, gameplay loop, graphics. Everything. GOTY for me, so far.

  7. Still pottering about on The Witcher 3 (I may or may not just be playing Gwent). Getting cross that it keeps crashing on my PS5 🙃
