  1. hey, we didn’t draw the Kashmir line, that was entirely the natives fault.

its why its so squiggly and ugly

  2. Back when they were important. When Europe was still important.

Damn those Germans… DAMN THEM 🤬

  3. To be fair, in the Middle East they mostly kept the borders of the existing administrative divisions of the Ottoman empire

  4. If India and Pakistan have a ding-dong it won’t affect us.

  5. Some people hold these 2 opinions at the same time;

Opinion 1: Conflicts are the fault of the West because they drew random lines. This causes different tribes and etnicities to share a nation which inevitably leads to armed conflict. The west should have been more carefully dividing the land into neat plots of land belonging to 1 etnicity/tribe.

Opinion 2: We should be welcoming to different tribes and etnicities into our country. When these newcomers diverge from the dominant culture we just have to accept this. Ofcourse no conflict will come from this experiment.

  6. We didn’t want to separate India and Pakistan. They demanded for themselves a 2 state solution.

  7. If we can blame UK for the potential war between Pakistan and India, I will blame Germany for every single bad decision that happened in France since 1939.

  8. We were very busy on map drawing day ok, we only had 30 mins to spend on it tops.

  9. Hot take, but Barry separating the two was an objectively better decision than letting them “deal with it it on their own” [read: even more war and ethnic cleansing than in our current timeline]

  10. 3rd world countries when it’s time to take responsability for their own actions and not blame something that happend 80 years ago : 😨😨😨😨😨😨😨

  11. From Hadrian’s wall north is ours. Give back or we start tossing cabers over the border and mooning you cunts.

  12. Indians and Pakistanis when they learn that the country wasn’t divided because the UK is a cartoon villain who wants to keep them down but because the Muslim League threatened war if they didn’t get their own country free of a Hindu majority. The British actually wanted a united India to counter balance the Soviet Union.

  13. the lines were not random – they were carefully chosen to maximise strife and trouble

  14. You all wanted us to give them their independence back so this is kind of on you guys

  15. I’m supporting Pakistan.

    1. They have a better accent.
    2. They don’t care about football which means I don’t have to listen to them talk about football.
    3. They’re not annoying on the internet.
    4. Underdogs.
    5. They run all the shops near me.
    6. They’re not all weird and German about Israel killing kids and burning people in refugee camp hospital beds.

Going to buy a Pakistan cricket top right now.

  16. it’s been almost 80 years man, it’s on them if they can’t behave themselves

  17. To be fair, those lines were drawn in favour of Pakistan (the Hindus wanted a united India) and Kashmir was meant to be neutral and independent until the Pakistanis invaded it.

  18. hey, if they didn’t like the borders, they had decades to sort them out. Miss me with this white man’s burden shit.
