Serious question: As horrible as a war between two nuclear powers is, how would this turn into a world war? Who is siding with whom and ready to take up arms?
Just keep Austria out of it and we’re all safe.

If this turns into a full scale conflict, we should see China back Pakistan, they’re part have a lot of economic investment in Pakistan and I think partly that’s the reason India attacked, is they feel economically surrounded by China and that may evolve to militarily, as Pakistan controls the majority of India’s water supply
Furthermore, China wants restoration of Qing borders as they see it as the end of the century of humiliation, since they lost territory from colonial land grabs
Maybe not a world war, US isolated the European allies, but I think there’s a high chance this turns into a full scale Pacific conflict. Only IF China says to Pakistan we will put our full weight behind you, Pakistan can’t win without that. Then India needs the US and it goes crazy
Every German city is now a Pakistani stronghold. Germany won’t sit out this war between Pakistan and India. It will soon evolve into a German civil war.
