Iceland has announced the launch of a new scheme which offers all students a 10% discount in Iceland and The Food Warehouse stores throughout the month of May. The new discount has been introduced to help support students who are facing the first increase in tuition fees in eight years, with the average rise set to be £285. Iceland is introducing a new scheme that will see students receive 10% off purchases every Wednesday throughout May, as part of a limited time discount. Richard Walker, executive chairman at Iceland Foods, said: “At Iceland and The Food Warehouse, we’re on a mission to do the right thing by our customers. “This month, we know that cash-strapped students will be studying and completing their exams, so the last thing they need to be worrying about is food prices. That’s why we’re giving them 10% off in stores, every single Wednesday throughout May.” To get their hands on the deal, all students need to do is head to Iceland or The Food Warehouse stores at any time on Wednesday 14, 21 or 28 May and show their valid student ID to receive 10% off all items. Terms and conditions apply*. In addition to offering 10% off for students, Iceland’s store in Leeds will also have a dedicated student aisle installed, featuring some of the most popular student favourite products, from Iceland’s £1 value range to ready meals. Iceland is also introducing a range of deals this May too, including: 8 for £10 – Birds Eye Chicken Fingers – 10 Pack, £2.50 Goodfellas Stonebaked Thin Pepperoni Pizza – 332g, £3.00 Aunt Bessie’s Chips – 600g, £2.00 Birds Eye Crispy Fish Fingers – 8 Pack, £2.00 Chicago Town Cheese Deep Dish, 4 Pack – 296g, £1.75 5 for £5 – Fridge Raiders Roast Chicken Bites – 3 Pack, £1.25 Cadburys Pots of Joy – 2 Pack, £1.85 Maltesers Milk Drink – 250ml, £1.59 M&M Brownie Drink – 250ml, £1.59 Dairylea Chicken & Cheese Lunchables – 60g, £1.60Follow Wales Online:
