As an atheist, I recognize that the concept of the antichrist is one which was informed by the writers who came up with him having seen the sorts of shitty, awful leaders mankind could produce and how they could inspire the worst in people.
Trump is nothing new or unique. There has always been people like him and folks have always had to deal with them. When it was necessary for the writers of the bible to come up with “the worst possible leader of humanity” they described someone like Trump because we’ve always had shitheads like him and they’re easy to explain.
