Despite the continuation of King Charles and Prince Andrew’s latest feud, Princess Beatrice has stepped up on behalf of the King.

Andrew insists on living at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, though Charles has proposed he move to Frogmore Cottage. The historic estate was refurbished by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2019.

Beatrice, who recently announced that she’s pregnant, attended The King’s Foundation’s Future Textiles exhibition on Charles’ behalf, marking her first involvement with the organization.

The 36-year-old royal attended an exhibition showcasing the Foundation’s commitment to addressing skill gaps in the UK’s fashion and textiles industry.

Beatrice took a tour of the exhibition celebrating ten years of innovative textile education. Acting in the monarchy’s interests, the Princess met with the charity’s Education Director, Jacqueline Farrell, and interacted with students, alumni, and industry partners from the Foundation’s courses.

Beatrice even tried her hand at sewing, experimenting with textile techniques such as embroidery and smocking. At the end of her visit, she was gifted a special poppy pin to commemorate Armistice Day, crafted by Sheena Spence, a member of the Sewing Bee at Dumfries House.

The engagement also underscored Beatrice’s growing prominence within the Royal family. As one of the King’s Counsellors of State, the princess can represent the monarch at Privy Council meetings and sign routine documents when necessary.

Despite her pregnancy, the princess carried out the visit, announcing that she and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, are expecting their second child in spring 2025. While Princess Beatrice might be keeping a low profile, the feud between King Charles and Prince Andrew continues to escalate, reports the Express.

Prince Andrew is battling to remain at his Royal Lodge residence in Windsor, even though Charles has tried to persuade him to downsize. The Duke of York, aged 64, entered into a 75-year lease for the property in 2003.

However, Andrew’s neglect of maintenance and repair could now decide whether he can continue living at the 30-bedroom mansion with his former wife, Sarah Ferguson. Failure to maintain the property may have violated the lease agreements with the Crown Estate, determining the prince’s future at the residence.
