The bit that says “made from paper” would suggest that it is.
Tastes just like edible paper. Just like those frisbee things filled with sherbet.
Paper is plant based I suppose.
we need more products like this for real, though.
our food is full of microplastics and our envorment is fucked from them. its about time alternatives started coming in.
😂 one for extreme deliberate misinterpretation
It says ‘made from paper’. Are you being deliberately obtuse?
Being older I was all set to be like, why is that not in plastic!!
But makes total sense to be honest and now has me questioning why more products aren’t like this. I guess it’s down to cost and breakage
I’m not the only one reading that as “Plant Batter”, right?
It doesn’t say “packaging made from paper” so I doubt it’s the packaging.

what does it taste like? any good?
Does it have a waterproof lining though? Like a disposable coffee cup that can’t really be recycled because of it.
Yes, it’s made from paper. They print loads of pictures of milk then mix them very well. Then shake. Then… I don’t remember.
Hmm, it’s hard to tell, we may need to send it to an expert to know for sure.
Still ultra processed crap, even if it is wrapped in hemp/tree fibres.
I Can’t Believe It’s Plant-Based!
I hate stuff like this!
There’s no such thing as “plant based butter”. Butter is made from cream!
It’s like saying “meatfree meatballs”… Get better names for your plant based foods!
Only acceptable one I’ve seen is Ikea’s: “plantballs”, instead of “Meatballs”.. They get it.
This shite needs banning – it’s a UPF for a start, and is made with seed oils (sunflower and rapeseed) which are high in PUFAs (polyunsaturated fatty acids) which cause inflammation (including cardiovascular inflammation), insulin resistance (which is a precursor to type II diabetes) and obesity. It also contains faba (broad) beans. While broad beans aren’t as toxic as some legumes (eg soybeans), Homo sapiens is an obligate carnivore, we haven’t evolved to eat plants (we’re ***NOT*** omnivores; an omnivore is an organism which eats – and can derive nutrients from – both meat and plants. We can’t. There are vert few true omnivores, the only one I know of is the brown – aka grizzly – bear.
The product itself may as well be made from paper, because it contains as much bioavailable nutrition as paper.
Butter (an excellent source of fat soluble vitamins (A,D,E and K), B₁₂ and calcium)
Ingredients
Cow’s (or goat’s) milk, salt
It contains almost as much fat as butter, but most of it isn’t healthy (coconut oil – arguably – is, but it’s still a plant oil, that said it is a good source of MCTs (medium chain triglycerides)).
Butter, on the other hand, is an excellent source of heart-healthy saturated fat, plus bioavailable vitamins.
This shite – and veganism – being peddled as ‘healthy’, really, ***REALLY***, boils my piss.
I would also dispute the “73% less climate impact than butter” claim, too; butter in the UK, as well as most of the rest of the world (bar the US which is the only country on Earth to still use CAFOs) is made from milk from grass-fed cows; cows fed on grass produce little-to-no methane, because it’s their natural diet. They only produce methane if fed grains and legumes, because they can’t digest them (and nor can we).
This shite is made from seed oils; both sunflower and rape need to be highly processed to produce oil, that processing produces a lot of CO₂ – also more land is required to grow plants for oil than is needed to pasture a single cow, which has a serious impact on both the climate (because it requires the felling of more trees) and biodiversity.
If you care about the planet – and yourself – don’t be vegan.
Aside from the packaging it’s UPF (ultra processed food). In other words “stop eating food that’s not food”
When did we start putting butter in egg cartons?
Yeah totally want bits of fluffy fibers in my butter. Will be avoiding this
I really like flora, can’t tell the difference personally.
I always see an aliens head in the O in the word Flora
Plant butter; is that how they’re marketing margarine now?

Wait, isn’t flora a margarine and therefore always been plant based? What makes ‘plant based flora’ different to normal flora?
Here’s flora original – 100% plant based
