The residents and guests of the municipality of Vaslui in Romania have the opportunity to get acquainted with the products and services of the Republic of Moldova at the exhibition and bilateral business forum “Moldova Presents”. Until May 11 inclusive, the Civic Center in Vaslui municipality will become the meeting place for businesses and culture from both banks of the Prut River, IPN reports, with reference to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova.

Exhibitors from Moldova and Vaslui County operating in the agri-food, industry, textiles and services sectors present the latest offers in the region. The stands can be visited on Saturday, between 10:00 a.m. and 07:00 p.m., and on Sunday, between 10:00 a.m. and 04:00 p.m. Visitors will be able to taste products and interact directly with producers.

The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova Sergiu Harea said that this event is more than a simple exhibition and represents “a declaration of confidence in the strength of economic and cultural cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Romania”.

“It is also a proof of the fact that, through joint effort, we can build sustainable bridges, we can support our companies to assert themselves regionally and internationally and we can offer our citizens quality products and services, with solid roots and a European vision,” stated Sergiu Harea.

The event is part of a larger initiative inspired by the traditional Made in Moldova exhibition that is held annually in Chisinau.
