1. That’s the thing that never happens, happening again. This country is finished.

2. How shocking that some of the 140,000 boat arrivals are up to no good. Who could have forseen that this would happen, along with the rise in sex crimes, theft and assault that seems to match with the figures of disproportionately high arrest rates in certain groups.

   It’s surely a mystery. Somehow the far-right are to blame for this.

23. If he’s an asylum seeker then he’s pretty much going to be living in tax payer funded accommodation regardless. If you’re applying for asylum you can’t work. They had to squeeze a bit more outrage into the story though.

24. First, he’s either an asylum seeker or an illegal immigrant, he cannot be both.
