  1. Eh. Have them all on one day, instead of spreading them over weeks.

The ones that cause trouble can’t be everywhere at once that way.

  2. Thankfully not a thing where I live now. Is there much bother at them in the central belt and west coast? I know it can kick off in Northern Ireland.

  3. Fun fact – its almost always on the same day we have our Pride March in town.

Bigots in the morning, progress in the afternoon.

  4. Hopefully they march all the way back into the fucking sea where they belong.

  5. We used to get them through in the East about 10-20 years ago. Glad we told them all to get to fuck. Not welcome around these parts.

  6. These so-called marches are only meant to spread hate to those who aren’t protestant, should be banned.

  7. And to think you can’t wait to get away from the horrible, bigoted, racist English eh?

  8. It would be a shame if someone re-enacted the gouranga mechanic from the original GTA with them.

  9. No time for the Orange Walks. Wish they weren’t a thing. No real purpose than to antagonise

That’s how it was explained to me from those who have members in the OL. A marching band stopped outside a Catholic Church in North Ayrshire, banging their drums and blowing their flutes. I was told this is deliberate, as it’s to “remind the Catholics” they, the Protestants, “won the war; they are the original descendants, the people of the true faith (Protestant)”, and that’s why they do it

This was explained to me, a Catholic, from a woman whose brother-in-law is high up in some Northern Irish Orange lodge

  10. I’ve never understood this, why don’t they just have all the walks in the one day on the 12th of July and leave it at that?
