  1. The Israeli state which famously came about via pacifist, non violent means. They definitely didn’t achieve independence through terrorist attacks against the British.

    Of course Mr. Gaston is well aware of that I’m sure.

Engaging in whataboutism about the actions of some other member decades ago adds nothing to good faith debate, and does not advance discussion of the topic at hand.     When he was a councillor and there was snow, there’s a local independent was snapped out with his car and wee trailer full of grit throwing it round some estate, it wasn’t a flattering pic, he was taken by surprise and wearing a bogging old high viz jacket and work boots. Someone else posted it as a thanks for helping folk out.

    Of course 2 days later gaston posts a pic of himself, in his fucking suit and shiny shoes and new hi viz vest over it holding a spade standing beside a road to show how he’s also a man of the people. Arsehole.

  21. Friendly reminder that the TUV and DUP are Anti Good Friday parties. This makes their policies most likely of all parties to lead to a return to violence instead of diplomacy as a means of reaching political goals.
