The [Trophy active protection](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trophy_(countermeasure)) is an Israeli system developed by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, significantly enhances the defense of tanks and armored vehicles against anti-tank missiles, UAVs, and other threats.
Having proven its effectiveness in combat, especially during the current war where it was deployed at an unprecedented scale, Trophy is now in high demand globally.
A recent agreement with Finland’s Patria to integrate Trophy onto its AMV XP 8×8 vehicle highlights its expanding adoption.
The system not only intercepts threats but also identifies the source of fire, allowing for rapid and coordinated countermeasures.
Germany also [recently purchased](https://thedefensepost.com/2024/12/06/german-leopard-tanks-trophy/) these for their tanks.
Love seeing all the recent increased trade between Israeli tech to Europe.
The headline is inaccurate. Finland is not buying the system. The article seems to imply that work will be done to integrate it onto the Patria AMV with the end user not being mentioned.
Finland has very few Patria AMVs and there’s been no announcement by Finland that it our AMOS systems would be upgraded with Trophy
