I once saw a weasel bound across 8 lanes of A45 right by Birmingham airport. First and only time I’ve seen a wild mustelid. Pine Martens are beautiful and very rare in Wales and England. You’re a very lucky person. Not gonna lie, I’ve heard the name Pine Martens before but never saw a picture of them. I always thought they were a type of bird. Learn something new everyday. CHICKEN: *exists* PINE MARTEN: Nah man, I’m pretty fuckin far from okay. Natural grey squirrel population control Beautiful animals. Never seen one though. Foxy stoat Keeps grey squirrels in check. One for the teenagers. I mostly find the skeletons of them when restoring old properties, they tend to go inside buildings to die, tops of stone walls is a favourite, Anyone who has ever seen a Pine Marten skull would never think they were cute. All teeth. I think I have seen a live one just a handful of times though. Just a smol cat😁 You sure it wasn’t a stoat or weasel? Pantalaimon! 💜 Only know about these from Redwall books when I was little. Never seen one, or a stoat, in real life. My in laws have them visit their garden quite often, as well as red squirrels. They’re so beautiful! Comments are closed.
