On Friday, the newly married actress attended the premiere of “The Chronology of Water,” which marks her directorial debut, layering a light pink sheer maxi skirt over a tweed short suit. According to the festival’s new dress code, “nudity is prohibited on the red carpet, as well as any other area of the festival” — which, technically, Stewart, who wore a full Chanel look, didn’t break.
