At the end of this week, the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) is launching the information campaign “Together we take care of Moldova’s future”. In the coming months, representatives of the party promise to talk to citizens about achievements so far, mistakes made, solutions for improvement and the risks that the electoral fall could bring, IPN reports.
According to PAS President Igor Grosu, the elections will be decisive and will be a turning point for the future of Moldovans, and for this reason it is necessary to unite all forces in order not to allow disunity. The PAS leader urged citizens to volunteer in the PAS information campaign.
“Either the citizens give up everything they have built with effort in these years, or they choose the path of joining the European Union in the next four years and continue on the road to development,” said Igor Grosu.
According to the PAS leader, in 35 years of independence, Moldova has been subjected to many crises and problems, and in four years PAS has started things that were not done for 30 years: it has maintained peace, freedom and democracy in the state, freedom of choice, the future of the country, because Moldova has a real chance to become a member of the EU, salaries have been increased, investments have been made in health, in modernizing education.
Igor Grosu recognizes that mistakes have been made during the PAS government, but assures that the party will maintain its concern for Moldova, for the future of the country, for peace, for strengthening internal unity and EU accession.
PAS has previously announced that it is launching public consultations in order to elaborate the electoral program for the parliamentary elections on September 28. The first meeting, on infrastructure and energy, will take place on May 21 at 18:00 in Chisinau.
