  5. "Put the FBI and it's reputation on the line". What reputation do you think is at risk? The false Hollywood depiction of the FBI? The FBI's reputation of being the lapdogs of corrupt congressmen? How about their reputation of being on the payroll of the mob? Not much to risk. You can't fix an agency that shouldn't exist and has always been corrupt.
