794,000 people tuned in to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest on DR1.
Denmark has released its viewing figures for this year’s edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, which saw a total of 794,000 people watch the Final on Saturday night. The Final was the most viewed programme in Denmark last week, and is the most-watched Final since 2019, which saw 1.1 million viewers.
Their recent viewing figures are as follows:
2025 – 794,000
2024 – 585,000
2023 – 372,000
2022 – 529,000
2021 -577,000
2019 – 1,108,000
Sissal represented Denmark at this year’s contest with “Hallucination”, qualifying for the Final for the first time since 2019. In the Final, she finished in 23rd place with 47 points.

Denmark debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957 alongside Austria and the United Kingdom. To date Denmark has won the contest on three occasions, the first being in 1963 when Grethe & Jorgen Ingmann performed “Dansevise”. Denmark won the contest again in 2000 represented by the Olsen Brothers. Their most recent victory came in 2013 when Emmelie de Forest performed “Only Teardrops”.
