  1. The amount of people getting operations in Turkey and losing other unrelated organs is unreal. There has been soo many stories coming out where people have went for a cosmetic/weightloss procedure and came back minus a kidney.

    This story is even more tragic. I hope the family get the answers that they deserve.

  6. There seems to be a lot of ignorance surrounding this story about what happens during a post mortem examination and why. 

    What happened in this case shouldn’t happen in the UK because we now have the Human Tissue Act, but that’s a relatively recent piece of legislation and it came about because of the Alder Hey scandal.

  10. Fucking grim, either gross negligence with a side of cover up by disposing of the heart. Or. Corruption and stealing the heart to sell on to black market.

    Feel so bad for this family .

    People forget that Turkey is a backwards third world shit hole when planning resort holidays. Not having a go, nothing wrong with an affordable holiday in the sun. But this is a terrible ordeal for that family.
