  1. Looks like tail roter stopped working….loss of control. crash

  2. “pilots died” damn…

should’ve survived crippled for life, but this is not too bad, I guess

  3. Fear not ruskie pilot family your onions are in the post 🧅🧅🧅

  4. Knocked out cold. I will not shed a tear. One less valuable and skilled resource for Putin’s terrorist army.

  5. Hehehe flying lada no longer fly comrade. Is now car.

  6. My thoughts go out to any trees, plants, pets, or wildlife that may have been damaged, injured, or killed after being hit by the vodka-soaked scum meteor.

  7. The Mi-8 is the most-produced helicopter model in the world (with 17K+ units made since 1968), is still being manufactured in two factories (in the Moscow and Kazan oblasts), and has a reputation as an excellent multipurpose chopper and a superb value for its $10-15m price. That some 50 countries have bought it means that parts and experienced maintainers are also widely available in many places.

Having said that, they do require maintenance — and the apparent tail rotor failure suggests that this one wasn’t getting enough.

  8. Shame. Makes me really sad, it’s the last week of the Premier League till next season. I am in the USA, its my morning coffee and a bagel time!

  9. Two fewer murderers from the sky. Good. I hope they were shitting themselves as they went down.

  10. Wow I had assumed that Russia gave up on Helicoptors a long time ago. Between the MANPADS and drones they are sitting ducks.

  11. As Barney Calhoun would say, “That’s one less horror in the world…”
