Seeing lots of Ukrainian air attacks using MiGs… Have Russia lost enough ADs??
Seeing what more of these strikes which require Ukrainian jets to get decently close to the front line. Either Russian jets with long range air to air missiles can’t operate as close to the front as before, or Russia is taking a serious beating to their air defense systems along with the front line. Maybe a mix of both.
Again, people should realize how hated and deadly FPV and UAV operators are. Typically these types of strikes would be reserved for ammo depots or command centers. But these days, FPV operators that are experienced are a much bigger priority.
Bet this was a well heard wake-up call to this invaders 🥰
Drones are a very significant part of the modern battlefield going forward.
That being said, this is a hint at why predictions like drones replacing conventional aircraft are premature. If this can be managed by a country with a very small operational air force operating in GBAD-dense air-space without air supremacy, then imagine what is possible for a country that owns the sky and possesses more advanced detection capabilities.
Haven’t heard this song in 20 years. Soil.
France is going to sell AASMs like hot croissants after this war.
I’d quite like to hear an assessment on how much those glide bombs affected Russian operations. By the number of strikes on pretty high value targets, there must be an impact on the terror army.
