  9. I have a picture of my son pointing at me on the Jumbotron when I crossed the stage to get my diploma. I worked hard raising him, working full time, and getting my B.S. degree with honors. I busted my a$$ to give my son a better life.
    This man’s shared moment with his son crossing that stage is an epic moment in their story.

  15. If you’re a non traditional student your children are both your motivation and a hindrance. ❤ my kids definitely got me through college. The thought of them watching me receive my college diploma.

  25. This man just earned his masters degree as a father and they chased him….undegrad is hard enough but to be a dad to a small child like that while in a graduate program he shouldn’t have had to steal his moment back

  28. I just LOVE how that gentleman ran interference between the Graduating Father n son against the female Cop who was just doing her job.   34. It was a stupid fucking rule. There is no liability. They just don’t want all grads parading their entire families and prolonging the. Ceremony. What if it was a grad who who needs to be wheeled across the stage. They gonna say no to family helping. Effoff

  36. Same thing happened to me! I went on the graduation field with my two year old daughter dressed in a cap and gown. My college chancellor helped me get on the field. Then they called security. I went and sat in the front row and they decided it wasn't worth it to cause a scene. Then my daughter refused to leave the stage!

  41. I had thought he had an outstanding warrant or something like that! NO, He just brought his baby to graduation! That's all! he wanted to cross the stage and get his degree with his baby in his arms! That's it! He had gotten previous approval but on the day they changed there minds. This is beyond stupid and they should have never let the cops chase him like that!
