Work colleague won an all expenses holiday for a family of four from a vending machine chocolate bar at work so it does definitely happen.
I won a Sprite t-shirt, but it was too big for me (adult sized and I was seven). Mum put it somewhere for when I was older, which meant it obviously disappeared.

I initially sent a screenshot to the wife, laughing, telling her to look at this scam email wanting my details and deleted it. It was only because she contacted them on Facebook we found out it was real.
I won an iPod shuffle from Coca Cola once but I don’t know what competition it was from. Thought it was a scam, still gave me address and *did* get my shuffle in the post!

I won a teddy thing from Mcvities but they had a production issue so as an apology send me £5 vouchers to buy any Mcvities biscuits and then when the toy was ready they sent me that too

My mum one about five years ago which was 4 tickets for Alton towers scarefest and 4 platinum fast passes and then four tickets for each of the scare mazes and dungeons tickets, plus a load of crisps, amazing prize for us, she however hates rides, mazes etc, she’s the person who holds the bags whilst she reads a book. She also hated the crisps..
Back in the day, walkers did a thing where they put money in little blue envelopes and I won £5. I was with my nan and we went on a little special day out to buy something for my mum and dad. It makes me smile thinking about it
No but I liked and shared a post from my local newspaper’s facebook page and won a switch a month after they came out. Genuinely thought it was a scam till I had to go to their office to pick up the console.
I once got a whatsapp from a number I didnt recognise telling me I won 52 free pizza gogo vouchers and a pair of pizza gogo branded air force ones.
Obvious scam right? They didn’t ask for too many details so I thought Id string them a long a bit.
The next day they messaged to say the shoes were now unavailable but if I send them my bank details they’ll send me £150.
Alarm bells start to ring again so I demanded they fulfil their original obligation and thought nothing of it.
3 months later I receive 52 vouchers for small pizzas and the ugliest shoes you’ve ever seen
