    This bozo somehow stupidly drives into the blocked off road with an idea to make his way through the crowd, then the first thing seen is football fans shouting at him and throwing stuff at his car.

    His door gets opened while still in motion but suddenly panics when people rush his door and send more projectiles his way…

    Floors it without looking or thinking and further panics. You see him stop then accelerate again when he realises he’s going to get mobbed…

    Looking at the second video, it seems like the car was already pointing in the direction of the crowd and (after plowing through a dozen people) he does try to correct and make it for the clearing.

    I think he’d have continued to mow into the thick of it if his intentions were truly malicious.

  6. I was watching a YouTube channel doing a report on it and I think it said an eye witness recalls seeing them come out of a restaurant or somewhere a bit drunk before he got in his vehicle

Hopefully the mob gets done aswel if you watch one of the first videos a guy actually ushers the driver to reverse back out of the road and you see the car try to reverse then the mob starts attacking the car throwing bottles and cans and trying to open the door thats when the guy starts beeping for people to move out the way and the mob attacks more making the driver panick and drive forward the drunk mob who started this need to be held accountable aswel

    Edit: to clarify I don’t think there’s a white specific crime problem due to the white race. This comment is just trying to flip the shitty things said about race when they aren’t white. I noticed I caused some confusion

  11. He was local so knew he would have to wait for the crowds to disperse before he could get out of the city.

    He decided that the closed roads didn’t apply to him and started slowly reversing into packed crowds as he moved off

    Some of the people he hit started punching his car

    He got angry and reversed at them faster

    They got angrier and started kicking his car and banging on the windows

    He decided to drive forward at the crowd beeping to escape the people he’d angered

    He lost all composure and control and chaos ensued

  14. As horrible as this is and I wish it hadn’t happened and that everyone is ok, I’m relieved it’s a white British man who did it. God knows what would’ve happened otherwise

  15. Classic Guardian and others like it. If the perpetrator is white they can’t wait to tell us, even when the police are telling people not to speculate. If the perpetrator is not white, they either don’t bother to mention it or almost pretend not to know or that’s it’s a minor part of the incident and then they may mention it later on, well along with calling you a bigot for wanting to know about the background of the person who did it of course.
